Youth Programs

Did you know bowling is America's #1 participation sport — with over 70 million Americans hitting the lanes every year? Among children ages 4–18, more than 40% bowl at least once annually, making it one of the most popular activities for kids across the country.

At Sahoma Lanes, our youth bowling coaches teach kids the fundamentals of a sport they can carry for a lifetime. Bowling distributes over $3 million in scholarship money to graduating seniors each year — and the best part? Most of those scholarships are based on participation, not just talent. That means every child has a real shot.

Oh, and one more thing: no one rides the bench in bowling. Every kid competes, every week.

Bowling is also the fastest-growing high school sport in America — and it all starts right here on the lanes.
